Common Questions

Do I need to upload my ROM? +
You upload your vanilla ROM once per generation - it gets patched server-side and immediately downloaded back. Your ROM is NOT stored anywhere on our server.
Which ROM version is supported? +
Currently only Terranigma (Europe) v1.0 - it's the most common dump. SHA-256 mismatch will be rejected.
Is every seed beatable? +
Yes, guaranteed! As of v1.0, story key-items (Giant Leaves, Roc Spear, Tower Key etc.) are shuffled across the chests by a logic engine that verifies every seed stays beatable - no softlocks. Enable it with the "Key Item Shuffle" option (Beta - report anything odd!).
Can I race friends? +
Yes! Create a race lobby, share the code, everyone joins, host clicks Start - live timer + leaderboard + chat for everyone. Optional Discord announcement.
Will my settings be saved? +
Only if you enable the "💾 Remember settings" opt-in - then they are saved in your browser local-storage. We don't track anything server-side.
Why "Beta"? +
A logic-verified shuffle that moves Terranigma's story key-items across all chests while guaranteeing every seed is completable. It's marked Beta while we gather playthrough feedback - more items (event/NPC drops) are coming next.
